Legal Services

Legal Services provides services to the Department of Public Works and the Department of Communities (Housing & Homelessness Services), as well as Ministerial areas.
 
Legal Services is responsible for overseeing the development of legislation and for independent legal advice related to the commercial, property and public administration activities of the departments.

The unit provides the legal management of public administration matters affecting the departments, including Right to Information, privacy and judicial review matters.
