National Indigenous Cadetship Program (Undergraduates)

The National Indigenous Cadetship Project (NICP) is a Federal Government initiative that improves the professional employment prospects of Indigenous Australians. It links Indigenous tertiary students with employers in a cadetship arrangement involving full-time study and work placements.

The Department of Public Works sponsors cadets studying in fields such as architecture, engineering, quantity surveying, business, commerce, management, marketing, finance, law and human resource management.

If accepted, mentoring, work experience and financial assistance is provided while you complete your degree.  On completion, you will be considered for our graduate employment program and for further career development.
