Building construction
The Department of Public Works provides a range of building construction services through QBuild and the Works Division.
QBuild plans, manages and delivers a broad range of commercially-competitive building-related services to government and communities. QBuild services enhance public safety, develop trade skills and improve the quality of living in Queensland communities.
Works Division works with the private sector to encourage an efficient and competitive construction industry. The division ensures best practice planning, procurement, management, operation and maintenance of building infrastructure across government.
